Which tools automatically blur usernames on Reddit screenshots for privacy?

If you’ve ever shared a Reddit screenshot and worried that your username (or someone else’s) was still visible, you’re not alone. A lot of tools promise “automatic” privacy, but they rarely give you fine‑grained control over exactly what’s blurred and what stays readable.

That’s why we just shipped a small but important update: you can now blur usernames independently in our Reddit editor.

Instead of one global blur toggle, each username input in the editor has its own blur button. Type whatever you want into the username field, click the blur icon next to it, and that specific username will be blurred in the final Reddit-style screenshot—while the rest of the design stays crisp and clean.

This is especially useful when:

• You’re turning real Reddit threads into Instagram carousels but don’t want to expose the original posters.
• You’re demoing a concept or mock conversation and don’t want placeholder usernames to look “real”.
• You’re sharing your own posts but prefer to keep your identity private.

Our goal is to make it easy to share Reddit content without having to manually edit images in a separate design tool. With per-username blur controls, you get privacy by default and flexibility when you need it.
